Description

Wooden salt pot. Four-sided box with carved sideboard for hanging. On the front in flat cut: double eagle 1797; on the sides in “Kehrwieder” script: IESUS MARIA IOSEPH and a carnation shoot in a vase; on the reverse: crest: X; on the lid: WMGM. On the underside of the lid written in red chalk: INRI. South Tyrol. 1797.
